So you wanna make some meth huh?
There's not officially an age limit but they'll be watching you.

The federal law limits consumers to buying no more than 3.6 grams of pseudoephedrine products per day - or about 120 pills of a typical decongestant like Pfizer Inc.'s (PFE) Sudafed - or 9 grams a month. Retailers are required to ask customers to show photo identification and sign a log book that documents what they bought and when. In states that have stricter laws, those laws will apply. Oregon, for example, will require a prescription for pseudoephedrine products as of July 1

California has very strict laws regarding over the counter drugs. The majority of states now restrict sales of cough and cold medicine to those over the age of 18. I work in retail and the register prompts us to ask for ID for certain medications. There is also a limit to the number you can purchase, this goes for anyone of any age. In some states I believe this is a recommendation of law enforcement but in other states, like California I believe, it's the law so a merchant can get in trouble for selling these items to underage individuals. Some retailers are requested to notify the police if an attempt is made by underage individuals or the person attempted to purchase more than the limit. This also goes for anyone purchasing a combination of medication and certain household items that are known as ingredients to certain illegal drugs such as methamphetamine.

Move to another country. The ratings are different in other countries. I'm serious, look into it. Added: IrishEmo, the Gaming Industry does not decide the rating. Each country ( well, many countries) have games rated by something independent of the Gaming Industry but part of the Government. I see this game brought up on here so much. It's not only "No Russain" people claim, they say that's just the first point in the most peoples games where people start to notice issues. Odds are, by the time you are 17, you will wonder why you even wanted this game and move on to a newer, better game ( not released yet). That's just what happens.

I work at a convience store and my boss never mentioned anything about any age for the over-the-counter drugs. Actually I do sell them to everybody but never happend to sell them to younger than 10.

so, I think there's no laws for how old you should be to get over-the-counter drugs.

most states allow children under the age of 18 to buy over the counter drugs, ONLY if they do not contain certain ingredients that can be combined to make other drugs(ephedrine) or used alone to "get high"(dextromethorphan). also, you have to be 18 to buy diet pills, caffeine pills, etc.
but yes, anything that is solely for medication purposes can be purchased by a minor. i really hope that is what your intentions are...'cause believe me, i have been down that road before and you don't even want to go there!
take care. ;-)

Most respectable establishments won't allow minors to purchase over the counter drugs, a lot of people use them for the wrong purposes. It's the same is Ca. trust me I live here.

Yes, you should be able to. The only questionable thing would be something with ephedrine or pseudo ephedrine in it, since the laws have become so strict regarding the purchase of these.

NO! --- no kid can buy any non-prescribed medication over the counter. "Use Common Sense" Only a desperate kid will do such. I say stick with Tylenol for children, it's a lot safer. And listen to your parents!!!
and don't be a "Desperado"
