Why don't you call some medical incineration facilities to get some accurate totals? Usually they are incinerated seperately from other things so that it is done so in a "sanitary" way.

Based on the American Hospital Association, there are 951,045 staffed hospital beds in the nation. That actually works out to about 5.9 million tons of garbage annually—maybe even more, considering that the hospitals surveyed already recycle or perhaps divert at least 10 percent of their waste.
