GUYS WHO FEEL INADEQUATE NEED "EXTRAS" OR "BACKUPS" TO BOOST THEIR EGO. IT GIBES THEM FEELINGS OF POWER. IT IS ALSO SELFISH AND INSULTING TO THEIR PARTNER.
MAKE HIM CHOOSE. YOU DESERVE BETTER. AND WHEN HE CHOOSES YOU, REMEMBER HIS EGO. TAKE CARE TO FULFILL HIS NEED TO FEEL POWERFUL, IMPORTANT, DESIRED, AND SAUGHT AFTER.
AS FAR AS PAST GIRLFRIENDS, KEEPING THEM AROUND IS A VIOLATION TO YOUR RELATIONSHIP. IT IS BAGGAGE THAT COMTAMINATES WHAT YOU TWO HAVE. IT MEANS THAT THERE IS STILL UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

Not OK. Even if he just considers them as friends, at least one of them wants him back, if not more than one. I'm not saying he is interested in them...only he knows that. I'm saying that the girls are still interested in him...and that is not a good thing. Tell him to cut them loose.

I think it really depends on many things... I suppose one thing is to consider is the frequency, length and the nature of that contact. The best thing to do is to talk to him about it.
