i was listening to the radio and a Dr. on the show mentioned it very non-chalantly like it happens all the time. Prior to this show, i havent really heard about anal sex as a regular part of intercourse, i was just wondering if people just assumed it was going to happen like other parts of foreplay.

Edward O. Laumann's The Social Organization of Sexuality: Sexual Practices in the United States found that about 20% of heterosexuals have engaged in anal sex, and sex researcher Alfred Kinsey found that number to be closer to 40%. More recently, a researcher from the University of British Columbia (quoted in the May 5, 2005 issue of The Georgia Straight) puts the number of heterosexuals who regularly practice anal sex at between 30% and 50%.

Well with porn as the number one educational school of "how to please a woman" it's no surprise that both men and women alike think that it's as normal a part of sex and so would be shoving the kitchen sink up there if that was promoted too.
Normal? Well I guess only a proctologist can say for sure.
Good for you? Well if look forward to not being able to make it to the pooper in time and having to wear Depends...that is if you haven't ripped or torn anything and gotten some nasty infection (in both doorways) and if hemorroids and pain and bleeding are a girls best friend then go for it. If that is normal I'm happy to be on the rebellious end of the scale.

No it is not a part of regular intercourse-that is not what that part of your body is for-that is why you have sex the normal way -that is what that is made for-anal sex should be painful-being constipated is painful
