First of all, you would have to finish 4 years of undergraduate college and get some sort of science degree (usually in biology). . . Then you will have to go to 4 more grueling years of Medical School. Then you will become a doctor. Once you become a doctor, the big bucks don't just automatically start rolling in, you have to do a "residency" where you will be worked like a slave for 24 - 36 hours at a time in public hospitals so that you can get your training. . .

Pediatricians are the least paid doctors because most of them will see un- and under - insured patients, therefore making less money than some of their counterparts. . . being a doctor is not as profitable as it used to be and plus you have to spend too much time at the hospital and you have to constantly be on call.

4 years undergrad, 4 years med school, then residency, not sure how many years it is for a peds doc.

If you want to know what they make you can check salary.com and get an average yearly salary for almost any job in any zip code in the US.

How many hours per week can vary widely. Sorry, no easy answer there.

Four years of college, four years of medical school, several more years of pediatric residency. Be aware that pediatrics is one of the lower paying medical specialties.
