I'm tired of trying all the fad diets which don't work for me. I can't do much exercise (I don't like to exercise anyway) because I'm pretty close to needing both knees replaced.

I found one, but it is for people with type 2 diabetes and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It is called Glucophage and only works with a structured diet plan (I use LA Weight Loss). What it does is normalize your appetite. I had insulin resistance, so it help my insulin do the job correctly. I've lost 80lbs since 01/03/06

People look for the "magic" and easy ways to lose weight and there is no easy or magic way. The weight loss pills often times do more harm than good and once you are off of them you will gain all the weight you lost right back. The bad thing is, it may be twice as much gain.

I am sorry about your knees, OUCH!! :0(
The best way to lose weight is to drink plenty of water and learn to limit your food intake. I am not saying starve, but limit what you eat. Cut your intake in half. YOu can still eat what you want but in moderation. That is the safest way to lose. It's not easy, but it can be done. It takes will power and it takes patience, but it can be done. Maybe you can try weight watchers or overeaters. There you have a coach who will help you and motivate you and you will be monitored. Sometimes, taking an antidepressant helps too. Often times, depression leads to weight gain because you crave things and you want to eat all of the time

Talk to your doctor.

There is no "magic pill". You are just going to have to start eating right, especially if you can not exercise. Get in as much activity as you can during the day though, light weights for your arms, crunches, swimming, etc. You don't always have to use your legs to get a little work out.

Most people don't like to exercise, but it has to be done if you want to be healthy.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

The real magic of those pills are they make you sh*t out the excess bowels that all mankind holds in them which can be up to around 8 lbs. Well that is what someone told me. But you can't go by everyone's word. I suggest to just change your diet and keep an exercise schedule. Don't burn yourself out. Results take months upon years to see true results. But if you stay on course you will reap the benefits.

I wish there was a magic pill, but I'm sorry to say there is not. The experts are say we, as Americans do not know the concept of portion control and that is all we need to lose weight.

Hi
The magic plan would be this as it really works so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

Ah. How I wish there was one. If there was we would all be skinny.

I am using Xenadrine EFX (ephedra-free), and I love it. It gives a lot of energy for my workouts. Of course, it is meant with diet and exercise.

If your knees are bad, they have this machine at my gym that is cardio using only your hands (you are sitting down).

Try going to a library or book store and look for some books about diet by the American Heart Association. Fad diets don't work.

Good luck with your weight loss.

Always a good idea to let your Doctor know what your plans are, and to book an appointment for a physical so he/she can give you an assessment.
Also, a lot of people say they have received great help and information, and a solid plan from a Naturopath, an expert in alternative medicine, natural and herbal remedies. It's still good to get your physical done first, because I think they'll ask for your urine, blood, & stool test results.

Magic pills don't work, only dedication to changing your life style to include nutritious meals and excercise. Water areobics and pool excercies are good and very low impact on the knees
