How else do you get rid of nuclear waste?
How people think uranium isn't radioactive when its incinerated I don't know....

As far as depleted uranium goes, anything that's radio active is a definite threat. But we live in a world with science. Science is a great thing with out it we would literally be in the dark. Keeping that in mind science can also be a scary thing when it's not understood right or miss-used. When the military goes into a situation they have scientist who provide info that protects them. But it is almost impossible to for see every threat so.. it's hard to say. Overall their are allot of scary things out their and in the end the best thing to do is hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and understand that as long as you use science right and for the right reasons it may be able to do a lot of good.

From what I've seen in the news, a considerable number of our military personnel appear to have medical problems related to the proximity of Depleted Uranium.
