Well, the guy who made it was said to add all the flavors at the soda fountain after not being satisfied with the soda jerk. Perhaps there is chocolate, melon, and I would defiantly say sarsaparilla in it as well. There is no prune juice like some think. Most of it is fruits and roots.

Dr. Pepper originated in Waco Texas. There is a museum in Waco you can tour that gives you the history of Dr. Pepper, but not the flavors in the mix. Trade secret.

cherry is one, lemon is another, no there is no prune but i have no idea what the other 21 are, i do know if you live near Dublin Texas you can get it with pure cane sugar and that is the best drink you will ever have (damn you high fructose corn syrup) and there has to be some kind of spice in it, it was originally described as a spicy cherry drink
