i sometimes get loss of breath when talking, anxiety, lightheaded,etc...

You may not need Xanax at all. Medications work differently on each individual. Just because it worked wonders for a friend of yours, doesn't necessarily mean it will work for you. Only you and your doctor working together can determine what the correct medication for you.

You do not need Xanax. It is highly addictive and will dull you emotionally if you take it long term. Actually it is intended for short term use. Go to a behavioral counselor and learn stress reduction techniques. Anxiety does not require addictive medication.

You may want to set up a consultation with a psychologist, and talk with them about that. It`s pretty unlikely you`d be given xanax, that can cause chemical dependency problems.

I agree with other three, go to a doctor because it has to be prescribed and only if you really need it!

TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT IT. ONLY HE CAN PRESCRIBE IT ANYWAY.
