Well at the time I thought they were the worst things in the world but when you listen to other peoples miseries...they are not even worth discussing. Misery is relative.

Losing my mother whom I've always been very close to, to cancer. I'm only 24 and it happen at one of the worst possible times. (2005) I had just moved out of my parents house to go live with my soon to be husband and newborn baby and then we found out she was sick. I needed her then more than ever ( I moved over an hour drive from the town I grew up in and far away from all my friends and family because this is were my guys work is) ....and she needed me too for support and love ... I visited her as often as I could but being a new mom myself I had to care for my baby girl. It was truly heart breaking, I miss her everyday and I know life will never be the same.

When I was in 6th grade, my grandmother (who had helped raise me) was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. She lived almost 2 years before the disease took her. Helping care for her and watch her get worse each day was the worst thing I had to go through, especially since it was so slow. To this day I'm still haunted by the images.
