What if you were going to marry the love of your life but your family and some friends didn't approve so you wouldn't have lots of people attending. Would you still have a traditional church wedding or get married somewhre else, like the beach a wedding chapel or a bed & breakfast.

I got married in Las Vegas. It was great. You can go simple or elaborate.

I am forty years old, and if I had it to do over again I would have a small intimate ceremony at a place that my fiance and I agree upon. Go check out different locations, there are some beautiful places for weddings. Look online and check out your area. My husband is a firefighter, and when we were married 14 years ago, we had the entire dept. and a bunch of relatives that I haven't seen since. What a silly thing we did by inviting a bunch of people that we don't even share our lives with anymore. Make it small, and only invite the people you truly love and care about. It's your day, so make it special for the two of you, nobody else matters on your day.

My first choice would be the beach because it soooo beautiful and relaxing. My second choice would be somewhere quaint like a bed and breakfast. We plan on getting married in a field or pasture on a neighbor's farm (not with pigs and chickens running around though) because we love the outdoors and the country. I think it will be perfect for us. Think of a place that you and your fiance love to be. That should help you decide! Good luck!

You can't please everyone all the time. As long as you and your other half are happy that is what matters.

Get married where you want to get married.
Have the type of ceremony you would like to have.

I have more couples coming to me that just want a small beach style or garden style wedding. Most of the time they don't tell anyone because they know that the vows are for them to treasure.

Good luck with everything! :)

i'd still get married, and i'd have the smaller wedding. i prefer smaller weddings anyways. they're cheaper for one thing, and for another, it's easier to spend time with the people who came to celebrate with you. also with a small wedding you can do stuff like destination weddings. i was actually just looking at stuff on disneyland.com and they have some really cool packages for small and big weddings. (i don't know where you're located though!) don't let a few people ruin what should be the happiset day of your life!

If I had it to do all over again, I'd get married at the beach. It's beautiful, intimate and romantic. Go for it!!
