Yes, my Dear 16 year old. If you can not get along and do good with your Grandma, then she can place you into a different home or group of un-manageable kids, that the State or County can take care of you and make you walk the straight and narrow. I can't believe, that you would not respect your Grandmother and abide by the rules in her home. Your don't realize how good you have it. All your Grandmother is doing is asking you to lead a good life. You need to go to school and not just run around and have a good time. At 16 , I had a job, brought my earnings home to my Parents. They needed all the help, I could give them as there were eight kids in our family. You need to help your Grandmother and if you aren't working and going to school, at least help Grandmother around the house and settle down. You will realize this when you get older, but until then. Please try to OBEY your Grandmother. You will find out how rough it is , if you get put somewhere else. Take care and may God bless you and Grandmother, Always. BE A GOOD GIRL !

WOW!

If you are asking if it is legal, apparently you don't want to go. If you don't wanna go, that says a lot about grandma......... sooo!

If grandma is not a crackhead or alcoholic, I would say don't kick you out ....................... JUST KICK YOU!

You lil B@$T@rd! You got a lot of nerves talking about what is legal, but you havent mention what you did that created this mess in the first place. You are in no possition to challenge anyone that's doing you a favor.

Remember, in her house its her rules. You break them, you suffer the consequences.

Sounds like you may be giving some trouble..I don't believe she would threaten to kick you out or find a foster home for no reason..your sixteen take life easier you'll have children of your own one day and you'll know how she felt..try to be good ...Your grandma is'nt getting in younger .. During her older years she should be enjoying them not being put through any stress..Take it easy on her..BEHAVE...

it depends on what state you are in. some states you are of legal age, you just can't drink or buy cigarettes or a lot of other things. the court can decide who your guardian is if you are considered a minor. a minor doesn't have to give consent. recently a judge ordered a 16 yo to undergo chemotherapy when he and his parents wanted to do alternative therapy.

dont listen to all these other comments.. there must a reason why you went online to ask for help it must be something serious..whatever it is ... get it out in the open ... if your grandma is that bad you are going to have to make it in this world alone be prepared to do so... go to school get a diploma then you can do whatever you want.. but if it isnt anything serious i hope that your grandma did not do anything to intentionally to harm you ... if she did ... i would tell the police or child protective services.. if your grandma did not do anything serious and you can handle it and get past whatever your grandma did to you... then i advise you to buy time .wait until you get your diploma ...then move out and live your life anyway you want...

I think she can. If it is hard for your grandma to raise you and you are being disrespectful towards her she can have you live in a foster home. Try your best to be the best you know how to be. She could be trying to scare you but I would not want to find out.

yes, if she feels like she can't take care for you anymore then she has the right to switch guardians on you without your consent

Yes she can, but in the state of SC you can move out when you 17 anyways so I would look up your state laws if I were you. At 16 in any state you can emancipate yourself.
