I love birds! My husband and I started out with a cockatiel 6 years ago. We now have 14 parrots and operate a small Parrot Rescue in Iowa. Birds are wonderful pets and great friends...a fine addition to any family. Remember though, many large birds have long life spans and can easily outlive their owner! These are really pets for life!!!! Good luck!

I love birds & am lucky to live near the oldest national wildlife refuge in the U.S. (Lake Merritt, Oakland, California).

No, actually I hate birds... small cute birds are okay, as long as they are outside, but I hate birds. I think I have a bird phobia. My heart starts pounding every time I walk by the parrots in the pet store (they are not caged or chained or anything.. they just sit on their little tree freely). Birds freak me out.

I love birds all kinds. I have two birds and I feed the birds out side. They sit on my window ceil. I have a film on my window I can see out but they can see in. Is so nice

I just love birds, but free birds, not caged. It breaks my heart to see a bird in a cage.

I have a PASSION for birds... I've raised many different kinds from eggs and they are just like new born babies! They grow up fast and recognize you when you come home... get all happy and excited just like a dog! Well, the parrots do anyway. They are incredibly messy and noisy... whoa are they noisy... but I love them anyway.
