Get some green apple spray, or some other bite deterrent spray at a pet store and spray it on the windows to try to stop him. Most of those sprays are really sour smelling and dogs have very sensitive noses, so it might make him stay away from the windows. Other than that, just spank him gently (make more noise than pain, so you scare him but don't hurt him) whenever you see him doing it. And I don't mean to abuse him, so don't bite my head off, people! Good Luck!

My dog pushed on my screens and I had to put the kitchen chairs in front of the window so he couldn't get in there, but if i wanted to keep him from messing them up for sure I had to keep them closed.

You need to find intersection with your dog. You and the dog have common interests, but they don't seem to correspond on this particular issue. You won't get intersection until you can both communicate authentically - really listening to each other - instead of from sincerity - talking but not understanding.

Since he's a dog, I doubt you'll get very far.

I don't know, but I have the same problem with cats, and I can't close the windows because I don't have air conditioning.

well your best bet is to get a doogy door and take the to obbidient school. and if you catch them in the act tap them on the nose for disipline. its very important that you do not hit your dogs or any other pet. they need to know that they did somthing wrong, but abuse is not the answer. make sure you dont touch their nose if you tap them on the nose for disipline, it'll confuse them. goodluck
