Two bucks per kid, including fruit juice or milk. Considering I don't have to be making PB&Js at 6:15 in the morning, it's worth every cotton-picking dime.

Back when I was in school my mom use to pay $1.25 But I am sure its probably a little more. When I was in high school a few years back it was about 3-5 dollars. But now they have programs for low income mothers to pay only like .10 or free if their income meets the guidelines. Some schools give you the option to pay for all your children's meals for the whole year which could run you like $500 but you do come out a little bit cheaper buy paying it for the whole year and less of a stress. But you can always save and pack your child's lunch! And that way you have a pretty good idea of what they eat and it is usually healthier!

When I was young, it was .10 cents for breakfast and .35 cents for lunch. Never was pizza or sandwiches or hot dogs served 'cept hamburgers which were very rare. usually a three or four items lunch meals and a full breakfast. I am 49 years old now.

I was paying $.95 per child(2 children) but I was barely approved for reduced at $.30 which is s big difference.

1.50 is full price here...but when I went to school i got free lunches due to our family income.
