Let's see here, one war in the middle east equals 20% profit, so I guess we will need 4 or 5 more to come out ahead.

That conspiracy has been bandied about since the Civil war. Of course corporations who sell things to the military make money from it. They are not running charities and exist to make a profit. Not only isn't that a bad thing, it is one of the major reasons that the United States has been so successful at freedom.

Probably 100
But probably 10 of them make most of the money. Boeing, NorthrumpGump (or something like that, they make subs and stealth weapons/vehicles), Skunkworks, Colt (or whatever makers of the M16) and so on.
A great comic I read on America's military-industrial complex was called "Addicted to war". If you ever have a chance of reading that comic (if a comic can be truly read...) it says a lot.
Example: Add all the money America has spent on war and it adds up to like 15 trillion dollars and the comic claims its more money than money spent on all other man made objects in the world.
Dunno about that latter statement, but 15 trillion....seems about right, maybe off by a little.
My two cents

Are you suggesting that this administration is helping big military business make millions off the Iraq war? I'm sure it's just a coincedence. I'm sure the fact that Bush has investments in the Carlyle Group (as with the Bin Ladens) is a coincedence.

War equals economic growth, corporations need growth to survive because they don't have a soul or any other human traits that make us who we are. Every government is in reality a corporation and they need war to justify their nesessity. ANSWER.... they have needed all of them to push you and I into the "state" we are in.... "police state" control by a false sense of authority

None. All they need is a contract. No war has to be fought for a company involved in defense contracts to draw a proffit.
