Cats like to play fight. Mine tend to do it in the evening. They'll chase each other around a bit, wrestle a bit, then one will run away and it's all over. The fights will help them work out who is "top cat" at least for the time being, since the little one is going to be growing a lot bigger. I think this is a sign they are working out a relationship. Trim their claws so they can't do too much damage and keep monitoring the situation, but my best guess is that they are playing a kitty game.

Don't break it up. I had the same situation with my cats, and it turned out ok. The only thing to worry about is if the young cat turns out to be really fat, and can smother the other cat. Then you have a real problem.

They are just working on their relationship! Females are usually dominant in cat society and she will get the little guy in line soon.
Scratches are not good however. Everyones nails need to be clipped until they stop wrassling around.

Well, they are still kittens and kittens love to play. Don't worry if there is no hissing or violant things going on it is okay. They are just playing, but sometimes cats of the diffrent gender have tiny fights. but I am positive that it is okay. trust me on this one.

If they are breaking the skin it is getting too serious. They can get an abscess from fighting like this. Watch them and don't let them play until one gets hurt. Good luck.

cats need to play a lot.
but it could be that the older one is trying to show the young one who's top cat.

i have two cats and they do the same thing. as long as they're not hissing, it's usually friendly. that's they way it is w/ mine. when they're not making any noise, they're just playing. as soon as there's snarling or hissing, then i break it up.

I wouldn't interfere unless it got really serious. They are working out their differences. I think if you interfere now you would be disrupting what progress they are trying to establish.
