I know the ignorant illegal who totaled my jeep didn't have any insurance but his jail time was paid for by tax money. I know I wasn't able to get a Job as a medical assitant in southern Califorina because of the ones who won't learn english. I know that the rock that two illegals threw at my head because I had a hat with an American flag left a lump for a week. I know that I served this country in the Marine Corps so those very same illegal could spit at me and wave the Mexican flag in my face.

I know there are some just trying to improve their lives, and try to become a productive part of society, and actually try to become legal. This type I don't mind.

Enough to know that you can't broad brush them. There are lots of ways that a person can wind up illegal. The obvious way is sneaking across the border. But that is only about half of illegals. The rest come in as tourists or students or on business and stay longer than they should.

I know one personally. She came here and abondoned a child out of wed lock in Honduras. She came claiming that her son needed a operation for her son's life threatening illness. She obtained a student visa, went to class for a week and dropped out. She claimed that she had to work to pay for her sons operation and we later found out it was a simple hernia. She decided to have another illgeitamate child here in the US. She has been here for 5 years now and still doesn't speak any english and her US son doesn't either. he is almost 3. He gets welfare and medical and foodstamps. She hasn't seen her other son in 5 years and we all doubt that she will return to Honduras anytime soon. She had it all figured out. It was a plan like so many illegals have coming here.
I just wish y'all would make a real effort to speak english and want to become American. If your country was so great, then why is it such a poor, dirty and unorganized place? Why did you leave in the first place if you are so proud to be Mexican or such.
You don't want to belong and then you get indignant when we complain about it. America owes the illegal immigrants nothing. We are all ready providing you with jobs and a better way of life just by being on our side of the border. I get angry and sad about the way our country is headed. We are just lowering our standards to meet the illegals way of life instead of trying to raise theirs. A muchas gracias would be nice.

OMG--how much do we actually know...what kind of question is that.??? How much do you really know about Americans? Another baited question...I think that answer to this is I know they are Illegal..not to be confused by Immigration. I know because of the Illegals they are making it harder for the ones that are trying to do the right thing and get into this country Legal. Thanks to their demand they have put up..Thousand upon Thousand are pushed aside now because of the Illegals..That's what I know..and that is enough. So what do we NOT KNOW ? What could you possibly tell us that is supposed to enlighten this whole debate?

I know that 84 hospitals in Southern California alone had to close their doors because illegals were using the ER as a clinic. I know they're here illegally, therefore having no respect for the laws of this country. I know that recently the abuse and violence they have shown to our border patrol has tripled. I know that Al Qaeda has begun teaching their recruits Spanish and paying drug smugglers and crooked military officials to sneak them across the border. How much else would you like to know?

Enough to know that corporate America is very happy to have people to work in our country for $3.25 an hour. Every time I hear press 2 for Spanish it is an insult to my native Spanish speaking neighbors. My folks came from Germany and never had the Press 3 for German, so they learned, studied and became full Americans- and I have a great job because of it. Corporate American do NOT want our new citizens (Legal or not), to intigrate into our great American culture. they want to give them the disability of language but making it "easy" to only speak Spanish. Where are the leaders of their communities demanding English classes..demanding fare wages, demanding to be heard...oh I forgot they are in the street demanding to be different.

We are all different in America silly, but at this party if you want to succeed you gotta play be the rules... LEARN ENGLISH, DEMAND EQUAL PAY, - there you go...you are becoming an American already...Cheers!
