Tattoos in the Marine Corps can not be on the head and neck. You won't be able to enlist with it.

You will have to have the tattoo removed before you join. You are allowed to have tattoos, as long as they can not be seen in uniform. Any of them, the Charlies would be the most problematic, they are the short sleeved shirt that hit right above the elbow

Technically I don't think you are supposed to have any tattoos visible with your uniform on. Realistically, I think the marines will take just about anyone right now.

You can only have a tattoo on the head or neck if it says; I wished I joined the Army.

In war any warm body will do, don't worry they'll take you and your DI will take care of the tattoo as soon as he sees it!
We had a kid that had a face full of pimples the DI washed them off, hope you don't mind pain!
