We had so many tickets come through my court for loud music. The charge is "disorderly conduct / loud music. If you can hear it in your house while the music is playing outside then your neightbors can hear it also. Be kind and considerate to your neighbors and don't blast your music for all the hear.

My husband is a police officer who also works part time as a disptatch officer at 911 and they get those calls all the time every day! I can tell you as far as I am concerend...I wish they would make some kind of ordinance to outlaw this loud boom box stereo speakers in vehicles and ect. It is so annoying! Dont get me wrong I like my music very much and i listen to it sometimes a little loud in my own home but not so loud it shakes the windows!

When don't they get complaints about loud music would be a better question.
Mostly on week-ends though.
