Like American Airlines? and how long would that take?

There are several Universities which offer bachelor degrees in Aeronautical/Aviation Science. Here are two that I recommend.

LeTourneau University - Longview, Texas

Northwestern State University – Natchitoches, La.

Take a look at both of these universities. Upon completion of your degree you can fly with most any company.

I can't swear to this, but I THINK you have to have served in the Airforce to be a commercial pilot.

The best thing to do is to get some experience flying small planes.

I don't know, but I do think it could be interesting. A lot of them are military veteran flyers, but I know of a man who learned as a civilian.
