1) This question has been asked sooooooooooooo many times now it is getting boring
2) Tigergirl has hit the nail on the head. There are many very genuine reasons for a woman to terminate her pregnancy.
3) For any woman to have to make the decision of whether to keep her baby or not is one of the hardest decisions she will ever have to make. In most cases it is not taken lightly and the parent will still grieve as if the baby had died of natural causes.
4) Why are people so judgemental over something that has never happened to them? or do not have the full facts on each individual case.
I certainly don't think abortion should be against the law. For the genuine cases like rape or danger to mother or baby if the pregnancy went full term, there should be a safe and healthy environment for them to go. At least in a clinic the patient will be cared for, as they should be, and offered aftercare and counselling. Without special clinics women will have to seek elsewhere for backstreet illegal abortions where the person performing the procedure won't care what happens to you and is only after your money. That to me is far more unethical than going to a trusted clinic.
It is all very well for people to call someone a murderer for aborting a baby, but until they hear the reason and the history behind the case they should keep their mouths and opinions to themselves. NOBODY has a baby on purpose so they can have an abortion.

No I do not think abortions should be outlawed. I believe in pro-choice. Having an abortion is purely a private moral decision, and right as far as I'm concerned. I would never throw stones at any woman for making such an important difficult choice. Many babies are born into difficult situations by parents who are not capable or ready to care for a child. What a woman does with her body is her choice;however it is not a procedure that I believe should be taken lightly. It makes me angry when women abuse this right, and use this procedure as birth control. We women need to be responsible and take care of ourselves so we never have to make such a difficult decision.

Yes! It's murdering a living person who can feel the abortion that takes place! Yea, it hurts the baby. Is it legal to tear the limbs off of your buddy sitting next to you in class? No. Then it should also be illegal to rip the limbs off of an unborn child (which is how they perform an abortion- www.silentscream.org).

Really, I think it should be up to doctors and the woman... and not a political tool. But nobody is saying abortions are a good thing....the abortion statistics are disgusting.
Making abortion illegal will solve nothing. Youth need real sexual education. Birth control should be more available, and at a yonger age. There seems to be an opinion that this type of stuff will encourage sex, but really youth have enough encouragement already.

it depends on the circumstances. if the doctors discover that the kid is going to be born with an fatal illness of some sort or major, major disability and have to live and suffer from it, then it's best that that baby be aborted because the mother won't have to feel guilty with the fact that she brought a child into the world and it has to suffer and live a hard life.

I believe that abortion should be legal. I remember the days when it was illegal and it was horrible.
Of course it is better not to use abortion, certainly not as birth control, but there are situations when it is necessary and it should be legal and medically safe.

No i dont. So many times so many thing happen in life which are absolutely unplanned for.
Imagine a rape victim having to bear her rapists child.. What kind of future do u think the child has with her mother?
I thot in this age women were more sensible (but i just answered a 15 yr old pregnant girl).
Women deserve the right to chose. More often than not she will choose to keep her baby. But give her the right.

No, it should NOT be illegal, but it also should not be used as a form of birth control. If someone is raped they should not have to give birth to a baby that is produced as a result of a rape. A mother should not have to die herself because abortion is illegal. A woman should be able to abort a baby if she has cancer if it helps her chances of surviving.

The children of the next generation have a reason in their life. Without them something bad might occur that could have not occured. Be against it. Care for the future.
