Tell them that you realllllly want an iPod. Then, tell them that you're willing to work for it. Make them realize how much it means to you. If your birthday or some other holiday is coming up, and you know that they'll get it for you, be prepared. If they give you an iPod as a gift, just say "thanks!!" and move on. You don't have to kiss their a$ses to let them know that you appreciate it. After all, you might not love them...
That should work. Later on, they'll feel a little bad that you haven't said, "I love you" for a while... then they'll try and do some things for you. Pretty soon, they'll get tired and stop kissing your a$s. Then, once you need something, you can say "I love you" and they might be really happy that you did. Then, you'll get more stuff.

Dude... lola... Don't assume that his parents CARE about him or that they unconditionally LOVE him. There are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule. He wants to know how it can be done; he doesn't need to be reminded or told that he SHOULD love them. If he doesn't want to, it's his own choice. Don't force anything upon him.

First off why wouldn't you want to tell them you love them? You should show them that everyday. I'm sure they love you, because your mother carried you for nine months, and you were probably the most important thing that ever happened since God made green apples. They feed you and make sure you have everything that is needed. You should be so greatful to have parents that care so much about you. Now it is your turn to return the love, that you should be showing all along. Life is so short you should cherish every moment that the good Lord gives you. So tell them you love them always. If they ask what you woul;d like , tell them you sure could use an ipod. I am sure they would get it for you if it is in their budget. Good luck . Hope you will take my advice and maybe you will be rewarded.

so DO you love them whats the big deal? you want them to give without your love? They can just go buy a homeless child and ipod. i bet he would appreciate it more. I would if my child felt that way.

have one of your friends who has an ipod comeover your house and tell him to bring his ipod...have him listen to his ipod wen he's at ur house and seem interested in front of your parents and ask him questions about it in front of your parents...then ask them
