This happened to a guy I work with. His daughter dropped her Ipod, and the samething happened. It stopped working.

He tried bringing it back to Best Buy where he bought it, and they wouldn't accept it back. He then drove alittle out of his way, found an Apple Store, and they replaced it on the spot, no questions asked!

Look and see if there is an Apple Store near you. This would be the best bet. If not, try contacting Apple. They helped out my co-worker, no problems!

Bring it to an Apple store and they'll let you exchange it for another. (My sister's iPod Mini got dropped in a bucket of soapy water and now she has a Nano...and my other sister's Mini wouldn't charge so she exchanged it.) I think it's an easy process.

I had this problem as well and I went to apple.com and entered the support site. I described the problem, they shipped me a package, I sent it back and they replaced it.
