To be honest, it'll be better to pick up a $60 one at Walmart... used CD Players for cars normally are missing adapters in the back, or if it was uninstalled improperly, wires could have been damaged...

Pawn shop deals for inexpensive items like CD players ain't that much better than buying new stuff.Plus you never know what you're buying...no guarantees. You might find out 10 miles down the road that it skips at speeds over 30 miles per hour, and you can't return it! Keep in mind that the thing is at the pawn shop for a reason! It might not work like it's suppossed to,it could be stolen,etc...
Just pony up the dough for a new one.Car CD players don't cost what they used to.Some of them are affordable.

Go to the pawn shop and you can most likely buy your own CD player. If not you can buy another, which will be one that has been stolen from someone else. The only justifications for pawn shops are, they enhance the drug trade, promote theft and enable junkies to continue their habit. The owners do very well. Praise God!!!! Most Pawnshop owners I know are born again Christians and/or Law Enforcement people. (Legalized Crime)

i bought a new one from circuit city, for a 120 bucks they installed it too, this was back in 98 or so. Its not top of the line, but its played cd's for several years all acrosss the country. If you go to a pawn shop you may buy one cheaper, it may or may not be in good condition if it works, may be hot, and unless you bargain them down, probably not that great of a deal anyway.

Just get a cheap cd player(portable one that is.). Is new at least, and you know how it is. A pawn shop car stereo, you'd have no clue if its any good, and if the pawn shop would even give you a good warranty or not. Let alone if they'd stand behind that warranty.

ur best bet is to get a cd player from bestbuy with free installation. or from walmart then have a friend install it. pawn shops arent stereo shops, they know nothing about stereos.. no refunds or exchanges! so why give them ur money?
