I've decided on a road trip consisting of brewery tours around the Midwest for the Labor Day weekend. From Chicago, are there any recommendations of places within 500 miles? Please give the maker and location….

Yeah..those microbrews in Milwaukee....like MILLER.
Also, at the stretch of the 500 miles, in Kasnsas City is a great little brewery called "boulevard brewery" they do a great tour, and you get samples of beer at the end, and get to taste the actual raw grains they use. It's also the :2nd largest brewery in Missouri".

One of the best tours of a brewery is Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis. The tours are still FREE and you will have complimentary samples afterwards. It's quite an experience and certainly shouldn't be missed. Enjoy.
