Ok here goes, any idea you get will be clecha to a point, but most are really fun. Car washes, Pie suppers, car bashings, Casino Night, Slave sells, Auctions, Raffles, and benifit sports games like basket ball teachers/parents/alumni vs students. Dances with cover charges. On the Auction and raffles a little networking works wonders here, a few calls to the right places will land some pretty amazing things!! Free good PR companies drool over. The slave sells are ususally for Seniors only to protect the interests of parents and students. Penny drives at every convient store in your district can scrounge up quit a bit over a few months too. I hope this helps, and best of luck getting the funds you need!

I know that this is very simple and ordinary but the most common funraiser at my old high school was a candy sale. Everyone carried bags filled with candy and told them during the day. It was easy because people bought them before class during lunch after school at on campus sporting events. That is a very easy funraiser. We also have a carnival where every club has a booth and it is very easy to raise money that way. Good Luck.

Have every dollar donated a paper chain with their name on it and see how far you can make it. (it might help.)
Every dollar donated they can throw water balloons at you.
Make one of those things where you have different boxes and in one it might be wet noodles said to be liver or a hot tomato as a exploding brain.
Good luck!

A cell phone drive. You get to help people recycle and make money on the newer models - do your research and you should find a company that will send you a recycling box and even pay for the shipping. Good luck!

Selling cookbooks with your own made up recipes in it........show off your culinary creativity.

Put on a circus - like Cirque De Soleil (spelling??)

Do you have musicians - anyone with talent? Make your own "(Name of your city)'s Got Talent".....let people pay to see it and let them judge the talent.

Put on a play and charge admission - make it a scary play - not the same old comedies.....
