if so then tell me what company and were and why. if not then tell me y. But more importanly tell me if there r mercs. and if our government uses them!

They're not "mercenaries" ... they're contractors, working for private security firms.

Without really going into the details (i.e. what Tier 1, 2, and 3 mean) you definitely need some sort of solid military or law enforcement background. Generally you are equipped and supplied by the company you work for, within limits.

And yes, our government uses them. Blackwater, for instance, was tasked with protecting FEMA during the Katrina debacle. They and other firms also work government contracts all over the world. Considering these people are ex-military for the most part and really quite patriotic, it's a way to keep skilled personnel working for Uncle Sam on the basis of far higher pay than the military can provide.

to be a merc you have to have no poltical view on anything and be into money.you can work privateing contracting in iraq which u make alot but there mostly ex seals or delta force guys
