Halloween...?

does any on know halloween costumes for puppies that you can make at home and if yes, can you tell me how to do it? because this is my first puppy and i want to make him cute for halloween

or do you know any places that sell costumes for dogs under $15 (that is the most my mom is willing to pay)

what u should do is, take a peice or fabric you like, take the mesurments or your dog, (lenth, tummy, paw, face, chesat and all) and with a pencil, mark all the mesurment on the fabric like you want, see if it fits, your dog by seeing, and seww in with a sewwing machie!!1 or just buy on at the mall or at a pet store, walmart, target, hope i helped!

Walgreens and Wal-Mart usually have a few for under $15. Try a pumpkin costume or dress him as a literary character, like Sherlock Holmes, or as a little Vampire (particularly if his teeth stick out) or even as a ghost, which is really simple and cute because he'll spend the night trying to get the costume off!

I got this cute Halloween costume for my dog last Halloween. It was butterfly wings. Every Halloween I get dog costumes at the 99 cents store. Last year I got my dog a cute butterfly costume.

Check Buycostumes.com, they are pretty reasonable. I have made costumes for my yorkie by taking an oblong piece of white material, putting elastic around top for a neckline and adding ribbon to tie it around the center. Then make a black ruffle using material and loose elastic and put it around the neck over the white material. it looks like a mime. You can make yourself a matching costume and take the puppy with you if you go out. Or answer the door to the neighborhood kids as a set. The kids where I live always look forward to seeing what we are wearing at Holloween.

Unfortuneately, dog costumes are very expensive, try the kids department at a store, a goodwill store, etc. You can get patterns just about everywhere inculding WalMart, to make a costume for your dog. Use your imagination, the skys the limit and have fun.

I think it would be cute if you made him/her a cute little devil costume. U could use felt for everything. A felt little red costume. And make little ears like that too. And cover up ur dogs tail with felt and ur all set. It would be cute if you played along with it too and dressed up like an angel.

If you have a party supply or costume shop near you then they would have costumes for animals. Other wise it shouldnt be too hard for you to go look at some material and get creative.

a cape is cute, because it's easy to make from the simple curved shape and just a velcro strap around neck and under chest. I made one for my parents toy rat terrier and it was red with the white and black feax fur to look like a kings robe!

Many stores such as wal mart may have dog costumes, but a pet store might have a better selection. it will be a lot less time consuming, and a lot less frustrating if you buy one instead. some dogs hate wearing things though...so be prepared for diaster(THink ripped up costume!)
