Here's the run down:
I am on singulair (bad spelling). I cannot take decongestants because they miss with my head (I get really drugged off of them). My breath smells really bad because my sinuses are acting up. They are draining down my throat (which is making it a little raw). My stomach is upset. My head is foggy and feels like it is ready to explode.
I know the ragweed is doing it. I cannot take OTC allergy meds (got yelled at by the doctor before). I barely consume chocolate or dairy. I don't drink. I try to drink plenty of water.
Is there anything I can do about the breath, the throat, or the head issues? Kinda used to the stomach issue by now.
Thanks

I am currently using allergy eye drops because my eyes burn badly. That is the only thing I seem to be doing right.

Make an appointment with an allergist/ENT doctor. Write down all of the symptoms along with all of the side effects you experience with various medications. Singulair is an allergy medication that also helps with asthma. Maybe a change to Zyrtek or some other class of allergy medication will help you. You may become one of the unlucky allergy sufferers that must go to the allergist office for allergy shots.
The bad breath may indicate the beginnings of a sinus infection. Ask your doctor about that as you may need an antibiotic. Do you tolerate nose sprays well? Flonase works great for one of my brothers. I cannot use nose sprays as they cause my nose to bleed.
If you have not already begun allergy proofing your home, start doing so. Start with your bedroom and central air filters. Use allergy proof pillow covers instead of just using a pillowcase. (I buy my pillow covers from Wal-Mart.) Wash your bedding in hot water to ensure that you kill and remove any allergens. I know one woman, who immediately removes her bedding from the dryer, folds it, and then places it in plastic bags. She uses a vacuum cleaner to suck all of the air out of the bag and ties it, effective vacuum sealing her extra bedding. She then stores that in the freezer until she changes her linens. The freezer prevents any airborne allergens from settling on the bedding while in the linen closet. Remove any decorations in your bedroom not functionally necessary. If it collects dust, remove it. Keep your bedroom as compulsively clean as humanly possible. Wear a dust mask while performing house-cleaning chores.
Use the highest MERV rating you can find for your air conditioning/heating system. I use the Filtrete Ultra with a MERV rating of 11. Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, and Home Depot all carry the Filtrete brand, though in limited sizes. My system requires an odd size and I order them from http://www.natlallergy.com/prod/1271/3m-filtrete-ultra-allergen-furnace-filters.html. Their website has a lot of information on allergy proofing your home.
Good luck!

Isn't there a nasal spray, maybe Astelin, that you could use in conjunction with the Singulair (you spelled it right)? Astelin is not a decongestant or a traditional antihistamine, it's a different class of medication. I don't really know all the details of it (sorry). At the very least, you could try a saline nasal spray to moisturize the nasal passages- some have menthol/eucalyptus to help open you up, too.
Your stomach is queasy because the mucus is dripping down the back of your throat. Pushing fluids will help that move through your system and should help you breath. But a sore throat and bad breath suggests that you might be brewing a throat infection, so I'd really suggest seeing the Dr. anyway.
Gargling with salt water of course helps with the germ factor. I prefer to gargle with the broth from a bowl of chicken soup when I'm that stuffy - it tastes better, and the soup is good for you, and the heat/steam also helps open your nasal passages. Brushing your tongue when you brush your teeth helps remove particles and germs that could make your breath worse.

I use Nasonex...it's prescription nasal spray. I like it a lot. Now the problem with your breath. I would suggest looking for a product called Breathe RX. You can find it at your local pharmacy and online. There's a whole mouthwashing kit or you buy the items separately. I think what you need is the tongue scraper to get the bacteria off of your tongue. Breathe RX carries this by itself and it comes with anti-bacterial spray. Use that and then scrape it off of your tongue. Also, Listerine makes a mouthwash with hydrogen peroxide in it. It gets all foamy and it removes bacteria. Definitely try the tongue scraper. If you don't want to spend the money on one just use a big spoon. As far as your stomach goes, I would see a gastroenterologist and have an endoscopy.

It's not a sure cure, but it helps. Try boiling a small pot of water and breathing in the steam for awhile. It should help drain your sinus passages. Before bed use some Saline nose drops or spray. You'll sleep better and may wake feeling a little better too.
Sure hope your feeling better soon. Those sinuses can be awful!

The best way to improve your indoor air quality in your home is to keep your home clean. It is a good idea to open the windows and let some fresh air circulate throughout your home for a short time. Another way is to change your AC Filters or Furnace Filters on a regular basis or upgrade to a better quality A/C or Furnace Filter. We Have The Best Filters For People With Allergies.
