Well, your score could be a little better, but your score is going to go up in your junior year anyways. In the critical reading and the math section combined (as they are the most important part of the test currently), I increased about 110 points between the PSAT in October and the SAT in May without doing any studying. As it is, your score is certainly above average.

Anything over 800 on math and 800 on English to equal a total score of 1600 total is good. Howver, you must past admissions interview as well. Having a 17 score is a great start.
You could also keep taking sATs...they take your highest scores in each category and combine the two. It might help if your are seeking scholarship monies. My nephew started taking them very early and often. It was good practice and that only leads to confidence..
Good luck..

attempt to evaluate your SAT rankings to the publicly obtainable popularity expenses of the various universities. that would desire to offer you a huge concept in the experience that your grades are good sufficient or no longer. i'd nevertheless stick to to a college which you fairly like yet looks no longer susceptible to settle for you in basic terms completely based on your grades, through fact universities are continuously staring on the full kit of your application and not in basic terms your grades. I lined you some hyperlinks on the backside to information pages approximately universities in Florida that supply you the suggestions approximately your minimum required SAT rankings.

That is extremely good. Did you really get that high?
Mensa (the society of geniuses) used to accept individuals that scored above 1300.
2400 is a perfect score.

that's a fantastic score. They haven't changed the grading of the test, only the format.

1700 is a perfect score, I guess you score 1690 for not knowing that, or it's a sad attempt at fishing for a compliment
