I have a time line due tomorrow by 1st period in Survey of Lit. Can you do it at home? Try to think back, it probably is in your locker, you just can't remember. happens to me too.

Worry about what you can control not what you can't--that's the road to a nervous breakdown. If it isn't in your locker, then where is your paper? I assume you have searched what you can seeking that timeline, and haven't found it. If you lost it and can't search for it then you shouldn't obsess over it. If the timeline is in your locker then you are okay, if it is not then worrying about it didn't do you any good--it sure didn't find that paper you need.

Okay, now what is the worst that can happen if you don't turn that paper in? You will get a failing grade and have to work harder to make up for it. Will one paper mean a failure in the entire course? Rarely, is this true--however, in college it can be.

Try to reconstruct the paper. Do you remember anything at all; a partially complete assignment is better than no assignment. Did you do this timeline with someone else? Have you contacted them for help? Can you copy their data; if you both made the timeline then you aren't cheating. Can you get into school early; can you talk with the teacher before class and explain your mistake?

Ask your teacher if you can make it up or if there is some extra credit that you can do. Most teachers will be willing to give you some slack, if you show that you regret the error and are willing to try and make up for it.

Worry about what you can fix. If you can't fix it then and it is out of your hands, then worrying about it won't help the situation. I don't mean blowing it off completely, I mean don't obsess about it. Handle the problems you can solve, do what you can to help those problems that you can’t solve, and don’t obsess with the problems that you have no control with. It might rain tomorrow and that might spoil your outside activities. Will worrying about it stop the rain—NO. So why waste the time worrying about it. If you could reschedule the outdoor activities or make alternate plans then you have done the best that you can do.

“Only look for the good things in life, because the bad ones will find you no matter what you do.” If you can’t find the timeline, if you can’t recreate it, and you can’t get in early to do it or search for it, then you have done all you can to solve the bad problem, so look for something positive until you can do something to solve the bad problem.

First get to school very early & see if it's in your locker tomorrow then check the spelling because judging by your typo's your not doing so well in the grammar department

thats very interesting, you sound like a character from little britain by the way you type, its very amusing (you probably wont know what little britain is, but its a very funny TV show) try actually asking a question next time. Goodnight

And you still got it wrong. Its DUE tomorrow

Well, if your teacher is lenient, they might accept your excuse and just take maybe 20 points off of it. Which is not the worst thing in the world.Try to stop worrying.

Get ready to make excuses. Time to learn how to play the high school game.
