You could try out calligraphy. I've got a box set for it... Comes with a fountain pen, different colored inks, a notepad for your practicing, and of course the booklet that teaches you different styles. As you get more into it, you'll develop your own unique, beautiful style of writing. Not to mention you'll be getting lots of compliments on it, including from strangers. =)

Try practicing how you would like to write, for several minutes each day (whenever you have a spare moment). If that doesn't help go to the store and get some of that paper that had the line and then the dotted line half way between two lines (ya know the kind we used in 3rd grade), and practice on it. It'll show you how to get definition in your letters and words. Hope I helped!! Happy writing!!
