You use commas, and put "y" before the last one. You do not put a comma before the "y". I am quite sure that Spanish speakers do not use a comma there, where for English speakers it is usually possible. This means that I disagree with many of the other answerers, and I know it.
So: "duraznos, naranjas y manzanas".
Also, did you know that if you want to use "y" before a word that starts with the "i" sound, you should use "e" instead?
In other words, it's not "edificios y iglesias", it's "edificios e iglesias".
