A high school diploma is OVER-RATED .You'll do just fine with a GED.I dropped out of high school when i was 16 and recieved my GED 1 month later. After that I enrolled in a Junior college and graduated with an A.S. degree in mathematics by the time i was 18,which is the time i should of finished high school.By the time my friends graduated high school,I already had a college degree.Upon completion of my A.S. and a GPA of 3.8, I transferred to The University of Southern California (usc) and by the time i was 20 yrs old graduated with a Bachelor's of Science(B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering.I went on to grad school after that and by the time I was 22 I graduated with a masters in PHYSICS. I am now 23 and I work for BOEING As a Head engineer and I'm planning on becoming a proffesor at usc next year and teach physics.I am very proud of my success and thank GOD for giving me determination and all of this started with a simple GED.

Well when I got my GED then it was equal to the diploma. But... hate to tell ya'll it is not anymore there are certain areas that do not even consider it. One for sure is the Military If you try to enlist now its diploma or no go you can go back to school to get one because the service will not let you enlist in the states without one. So make sure what ever it is that you want to do call and ask if a GED is accepted.

There is no difference between a diploma you get out of High School, after 12th grade, then there is a GED. The same curriculum is covered in both.
No, most business will NOT judge you based in whether you have a dipolma or GED, because techincally they are the same thing. In the end, they hire you whether you are dependable and a good asset to their company. And the same goes for Universities as well. A GED IS the same thing as a diploma in the eyes of admissions. No penalty is given.
You should be very proud of yourself to be continuing your education, no matter how long you have taken a break.

that's easy, diploma for sure. You'll understand when your older. Especially if you don't get a degree in college. You WILL looked down upon by most good jobs and your opportunity will be far less.
