Yes, you can if you don't get the puppy tape pills.You will see the tape segments on his butt and they will fall off. They will dry up and die after awhile. You could pick them up or your kids if they put their hands in their mouth after playing with the puppy. Chances are slim but it is possible. Children are susceptible to worms because they play with the dogs and don't wash their hands. This is how they could ingest the tapeworm .

Tapeworms must be located in something that you eat to get them. Like uncooked beef may have tapeworms in it and if you ate that, then you would have a tapeworm.

No, you cannot get tapeworms from your dogs......every night I sleep with 3 dogs and I have never gotten tape worms, I am 64 and still don't have "em"....make sure you worm your dog though.

No, transmission of tapeworms comes from fleas. If you have ingested a flea, there's a change or if you have touched feces from your dog and without washing your hands, put them in your mouth.
Tapeworms can be treated with Droncit from your vet.

I don't think so. Unless she defecated in your bed an consumed it. I think tapeworm can only be ingested.

in general, in order to be infected with tapeworms, you must injest something containing viable eggs.
