You are gonna freak here in another 2 weeks or so.... you will. Trust me. You have to EASE off those. You are going to need to see a doc. May as well make the appointment now. You are prescribed that because you needed it. That is my advice to you.

I think that with any drug, not just an SSRI, you need to gradually reduce your dosage. If you abruptly end any medication, it has some impact. It may not happen right away but it will happen. It is very important that you stay aware of syptoms that put you on Paxil inthe first place. I would tell you to increase your exercise routine, find a good support group( both online and off) stay in touch with your doctor. It is important that you put some coping skills in place to help you when you hit those low places. If necessary, get on another antidepressant

Good Luck

definite, those might desire to be withdrawal warning signs, in spite of the shown fact that it would be sturdy to envision with your well being practitioner to be certain. Paxil takes approximately six weeks to absolutely leave your equipment. you could assume the withdrawal warning signs to attraction to close around for a jointly as, then steadily subside. it particularly is often extra useful to withdraw from an SSRI steadily over a quantity of time than to provide up without warning. Now you comprehend why! i'm hoping you experience extra useful quickly.

REALLY FIND A DR! Ask/DEMAND SAMPLES!THEY HAVE THEM! Don't go off any antidepressants without a Dr.weaning you off!If the paxil worked for you ,You should probally stay on it anyways.I stopped prozac on my own before. It landed me into a Physc.Ward! I went back on it and had the Dr. wean me off.It can be life threatening. GOOD LUCK!

Hope you didn't quit cold turkey...

Go for a walk! I know, I know...sounds trite but I swear it works!
Just walk until you can't walk anymore. Focus on things around you - trees, flowers..
But mostly, just walk and sweat. It'll clear your head and burn off some energy and angst.

get a new prescription from your doctor! you should never drop a prescription drug without a doctor's advice and consent especially if you've been on it a long time because the symptoms it was treating can become much worse.
