I have had a person tell me from personal experience that she gained an inch within a few months using an "inversion table." This is a table that you lie on and then slowly swivel so that you are head-down for some time. It is supposed to decompress the discs in your vertebral column, thereby increasing height. Many other benefits are CLAIMED, but the height thing is the only one I have heard of from an actual user.

You may want to hang out with very short people but that's about it. Height, like weight, are surface things. Holding your head up will help you command the respect you deserve... and hey makes you look taller too!!!

Its determined by genetics, hun. The best you could do would be to get the surgery where they insert things into your leg bones and you break them a little bit each day. It causes the leg bones to lengthen. Incredibly painful, and probably would be near impossible to find a doctor to do it.

If you are over 13, either x-rays on your hips or your back will tell if the growth plate in your spine or fermur hasve fused thus ending the groewth process.
