Okay so how do you hang a poster? Like on a door? Just a paper poster, it won't be framed or anything. When I was a little kid i just put tape on the back and like taped it to the door, but that would end up tearing it up if I wanted to move it. So is there anything you suggest I can do about hanging a poster?

I'm not so sure tacks will go through a solid wood door.

Why not take a wooden dowel rod and roll the very top of the poster around it and staple the poster to the rod. Then put a small wire on one end and take it to the other end and attach it there also. Then put a small finishing nail or straight pin in your door and hang the wire on it. This way you can move your poster about any time you want to.

well, I tried putting those paper hole protectors on both sides ot the poster where the tacks are going. You can also try putting 6 tacks instead of 4 if it is a rectangular poster. Good luck!

Look in Walmart or Target for a poster hanger. You'll find them on the same display where they sell celebrity posters. Its made of two plastic strips that keep your poster in place and wrinkle free it also is attached to a string for easy hanging. They are just a few dollars and they re great.

walmart also sells poster puddy...its like silly puddy or play-dough stuff....you roll it into little balls and it sticks to the back, it holds posters on the wall really well and don't damage the poster or the wall...peels right off the paper when you want to take it down too

In college we used stuff called "gummy tack". Although, I think it works best on surfaces like painted cinder blocks.
