I thurts for a little while but the dentist usually gives you wax so if anything id poking at your gums you can put it on that. I have braces now and it only hurts when you have to get them tightened but the pain dosn't last long. When I got braces I got my mom to buy me a milkshake to make them feel better

personally i thought the spacers i had to get before the braces hurt worse. I can only remember one time when i was in really bad pain but other than that it doesnt really hurt. I ended up liking my braces cuz you can choose which colors you want on the brackets

Yes they do. When i got mine on it felt like all my teeth were about to fall out, then whenever i went back to have them adjusted or whatever then my mouth would be sore for a day. The worst part is the first day or 2

Yes, they cause your teeth to be very sore for a few days.
They can also cause raw spots on your cheeks/tongue.
Once you get used to them, they will normally only hurt when you get them adjusted.

Their right. They hurt the first few days so you should have soft foods the first few days. After that, you will be fine.
