Hi I am not Muslim I am Jewish, but I believe Halaal is somewhat similar to Kosher. I believe the Chef Boyardee items which contain meat would be neither Halaal nor Kosher, although the company which owns CB also owns Hebrew National franks.
It's almost easier to be Vegan or Vegetarian and keep Kosher or Halaal. Any canned or boxed food that has a U in a circle on the label is Pareve which means it is not only Kosher but contains no animal products. I would think that would be permissable for you to eat. Check the CB labels and if you see that symbol, you are probably allowed to eat it.

I am concerned about Stuart's answer because I know that the beef has to be slaughtered in a certain way for it to be Halaal and I would be really surprised if the beef in CB products was.

Chef Boyardee is made without the forbidden elements of halaal - that is, there is no pork, or blood, or carrion, or alcohol, or fanged beasts of prey.

The parent company of Chef Boyardee, ConAgra Foods tends to be really good about making sure that their processed foods conform to a wide variety of diets and teachings.
