Well, most sheep are white. There are a few that have a genetic flaw and are black. Therefore they do not fit with the rest. So when you are considered a blacksheep you are part of the group but really do not fit.

Example - John McCain is considered a blacksheep of the republican party. He is a republican but his is so very moderate that his ideals border Democrat.

Blacksheep-the problematic one in the family and or group but usually in family,walks to a different drummer than all other family members,does not abide by established family rules, the rebel of the family the one always attemting to establish his own identity which puts him/her at odds with authority of the family.

blacksheep means...my husband..lol. It is someone who is different in the family, group.
