I cheated on my gf a month ago for the second time and she doesn't know about it but I was thinking maybe I should let her know.. The reason I was tossing this around was because she doesn't put out like the other girls do and is like a lack of commitment to me and perhaps this would straighten her out... What do you think.

There's no excuse for cheating. You should come clean with her so she can dump you. The only lack of committment is coming from you, cheating & lying. Did you ever think that the reason she isn't putting out is because she thinks you cheating & she doesn't want to catch something from you?

Be honest. Like, seriously. About everything, especially how you feel about her "lack of commitment." More often than not, the problem is simply that she has no idea how you feel, and talking it over would make things a whole lot better.

As for the cheating thing... well, you shouldn't have, but I'm not here to scold you. What's done is done; but, as some advice-- cheating leads to major resentment. If she knows you cheated the first time, that's probably why you're dissatisfied as you are now. I'd try making it up to her somehow.

If you're cheating on her, then you should tell her and probably end the relationship. It's not fair on the both of you (and you're not getting what you want anyway, right?). Break-up with her before you hurt her and let her know why you did. Gently say, "I couldn't see this relationship working because I want other things and there is no point in me leading you on." Let her know about the times you cheated, too - she'll be upset, but honesty really is the best policy.

Oh, and telling her that you cheated because she didn't put out isn't going to "straighten her out" - it's going to make her hate you.

I agree, I think this would straighten her out, out of your life. I also agree with you that her not satisfying you like you need is not healthy for the relationship, at the same time what is your lack of commitment to her doing to the relationship? Seems to me that you are not ready for a committed relationship saying how all your problems are based solely on a lack of sex, which she may not be enjoying anyway!

That sounds like you shouldn't even be in a relationship. You should come clean though, at least you'd be maning up and doing something right. Only a very insecure and needy girl will put out in a situation like that. It sounds like you're threatening her with it. Not good at all. Maybe you should not seriously date until you find someone you'd never be able to cheat on.

So let me get this straight: You did something wrong, selfserving, imature, cruel, disloyal, and dangerous - (because let's face it, she could be the one to get AIDS thanks to you!) And now, the burden of guilt is to heavy for you to carry so you're willing to dump it in HER lap? Is that right so far? You are dumping YOUR issues,(and those issues would be: a lack of commitment and responsibility), in her lap, (NOT to "straighten her out" either - let's be honest here! It's really because you are a self absorbed jerk!) leaving HER to deal with everything so you don't have to. That would make you (to say the least!) a weak, WORTHLESS, lazy, coward.

Any other questions I can help you with today?

You give MEN and I do mean REAL MEN a bad name. There are plenty of honorable men in the world who will suffer the scorn of women because of people like you.

I think you should tell her in the same breath you break up with her and NEVER bother her again. Go be with the ho's who put out. When you have a teenaged daughter, I wonder which one you'll want her to be like - your nice gfriend or the ho's.

Good luck!

You need to break it off with her for good. Let her go and find someone who won't cheat on her.

You are talking about a lack of commitment on her part, yet you are unable or unwilling to stay faithful to her. Commitment is not about sex. If that is all your relationship has going for it, she deserves better.

I think the lack of commitment is on your part- you cheated. I wouldn't sleep with you either- knowing that you have cheated- she needs to get rid of you. Having sex with someone doesn't define commitment.
