Depends on where you go; a "school-like", more private type of environment would probably run at least $300.00 per week per child; a home type environment without any type of government supplement, maybe around $150.00 per week for decent care...

The price for child care will be very heavy, because any separation from mom under 1 year old is very damaging to a child's emotional well being, intellect, and social skills. It's also, according to NICHD studies, damaging to the father's approval of the child, and the mother's bonding to the child. Day care is very bad for children who enter before age 3, and still causes lots of damage up to age 5.
The first year is the year when the baby decides how she feels about the world. Now that she has realized she is separate from you, she must know you are realiable and caring about her, or her trust in the world is damaged. When baby separates from mom, her brain floods with stress hormones which impair learning and increase anxiety. She will believe, in her sorrow at your absence, that you want her to be sad.
So, the price includes depression, anxiety risks, lower iq, worse social skills, damaged bond to mother, father, and siblings, more phsyical health problems, + about 150 dollars
