I met my husband when i was 14 years old. From the moment I saw him I knew there was somthing special about him. I am now 21 and couldn't be happier. But be careful, it is easy to become infactuated with someone. If this person respects you and treats you like a queen and if you also respect him and value him than he could be the one. You never know for sure though, people and feelings can change. You will know for sure when the day comes that you get married and you really both believe that marriage is forever and are commited to making it work. Being with someone for so long can be a challenge at times so you need to make sure your partner is ready to go through thick and thin with you, someone who will stay strong when times get tough.

At 16, you are VERY young. There are people at 36 who have not yet found their one love. You must be patient. Life is a long journey, full of many experiences. Love and a husband is just one aspect of life, don't let this one thing blind you to the other wonders offered to you. God bless.

Speaking as a woman who's been 16, I'm being honest with you.
Enjoy life. If this person makes you happy, spend time with them and don't put the weight of the world on your shoulders asking if this person is the right one. Because if he/she isn't, you'll be crushed in the end.

Don't worry about the future..live in the now.

Best of Luck.

It is really hard at 16 to be able to understand if you have found the love of your life. That understanding only comes with years of experience.

I honestly think it's doubtful even if you think you've found it. It can't be a momentary feeling. Real love is forever. You're 16 you have all the time for love and romance, just enjoy the simple time's as a teenager.

You will probably find many "loves of your life" at 16+ but eventually you will find the "true love of your life" but probably when you are much older. Belive me you will be so confused about boys and dating at your age you will wish you waited until you where older to date!

I found MINE at 16-17. I was one of the lucky ones tho. If you meet someone and its meant to be ...then great, but dont get discouraged if you dont. You have alot of yrs ahead of you. Enjoy what you have, you only live once!

probably not at 16, it does happen but not very often. you will mature and learn to like different things. when gurls live at home, they aren't really concerned about livlihood and how to detect responsibility in someone. they are going for cute, but when you start bringing babies into the world, you will want someone who is responsible enuf to stay with you and help raise them. your taste will change. enjoy your youth and wait until you are wiser to make life altering decisions.

You're not going to find the love of your life at sixteen, you have alot of maturing to do as would he. I have found mine, but it took til my twenties to do it.
