Fabric is too expensive. I'm looking for the cheapest way!

Give each of your friends and relatives a piece of typing paper (so that they are all the same size) and get them to paint or draw a colourful something for you. When you get them back stick them onto one wall side-by-side with blu-tak which does not damage the wall when you remove it. Remember, when you do remove it do so slowly - no damage.

It will be an entire wall of original artwork that will make you smile.

Try lengths of fabric on the walls; you can put them up with minimal harm to the walls, and can get any color and/or pattern you like.

posters, all the way. you can get really good deals on some of your favorite band's merch if you know where to look. probably directly from their website is best, but many times music stores, concert venues, etc have a good selection too.

also, if you're the creative type, you can make collages, hang up magazine clippings, photos, drawings, whatever. my good friend has completely covered her walls with stuff like this.

you can get canvas in large sizes at craft/art stores. paint the canvas, use itty bitty nails to fasten it to the wall (paint the nail heads after installed so you cant see them and also use a fabric glue to cut along the edge so it doesn't frey And Voila! you have a painted wall that you can take with you!

Try removable wallpaper. I believe they carry it at Sherwin-Williams or any paint store like that. I'm thinking about just doing the removable wallpaper borders. Here's a site I found that might be helpful.

Technically, wall paper is not paint. Otherwise, just paint and repaint it white when you leave. Or get a lot of posters.

If you are not allowed to paint because of a lease then it just means that you will have to repaint when you leave or forsake your security deposit...

Don't let people drain your life of color... paint anyway!

Hi,
Go to a second hand shop or charity op shop and buy framed posters, oil painting or prints for next to nothing.
