My sister today spilled the beans about my boyfriends surprise for my birthday in late October. He hasn't said a word about it and he still doesn't know that I know. He is taking me to a James Blunt concert. (He doesn't like Blunt personally which makes it more of a surprise) and he planned a romantic dinner before hand. My boyfriend confided in my sister and asked for her help and she spilled it all. She said she thought I knew. Hmmmm.... Then she asked that I not say anything to him since she wasn't supposed to say anything to me in the first place. I'm not concerned about her feelings at this point and am angry that she told me. What I need to know is... What should I do? ... Tell him I know or pretend otherwise? I'm not good a lying and we are very open and honest with each other. Do you think he would be more dissappointed or hurt if he found out I knew and didn't tell him? Or would it be better if I tell him what I know? I appreciate your help. Thanks and God bless!

Try your very best not to let on that you know. It will be difficult, but he really is make a very big effort here to surprise you. You are a very lucky girl!

Ok the best thing u should do is to let ur sister go and tell him that she spilled but she didn't say everything and to tell him that she thinks that u knew some stuff of the surprise and tell her to try to let him change it because now u knew and when u go together u cant act like it's a surprise because u already know....

Personally I would be mad either way. So I would definitely go with the I'm sooo surprised path. Don't be too surprised and give it away that you know. But don't act not surprised enough. A guy hates when he went through a lot of trouble for a girl and they just smile and say thanks or that was really nice. It's not like you have to pretend you don't know what's coming all night long. After he takes you there and brings you to the concert, you can stop and have a great time. :)

Tell him. Open and honest is always best. This is not a big deal for a guy, really. And it might make him think of something extra for that night that he WILL keep secret. And he will stop telling your sister stuff. And who is James Blunt? And please do not god bless me. Thank you.

Look, if you keep this from him and he finds out from your big mouth sis, then he will feel hurt for not being honest with him. Tell him the truth and it was a great suprise, and let him now how special it will be to go. It sounds like you got a great guy.

I guess it would be difficult to pretend.. Its hard to pretend that you are suprised when you really arent. I guess I would tell him that the beans were out I think he would be angry and hurt if you pretended. Who is to say if your sister would tell him that she spilled the beans also.. so.. I guess to keep your trust intact.. tell him.

don't say a word and act suprised. he will make your day and you wil make his day because he's doing this for to make you special and it will make him feel so good in side. The feeling doing something like this for someone you love almost feels as good as sex inside!! go along with it and ake it a special day.

Well, the best thing to do is to pretend you don't know and be supprised.
If your too weak for that, just tell him all about it. And suggest that he not tell other people his secrets.
