no it's not right. perhaps if you didn't do it at all you wouldn't be wondering if she really likes you. that's why they say don't mix business with pleasure.

Depends ... are either of you married? If so mmm I would say yes (just me), if not ... mmm, how long did you work together before you started seeing each other? If it was right away mmmm I would say because you are the boss. Next question ... who asked who first, and why? And last but not least ... what ever happened to rules in the workplace of sleeping with your underlings in order to avoid little situations like this? If you actually do like her, and want to keep the relationship going, you might wanna talk to her about and just go off the gut feeling that you get from her response. Not the best advise in the world, but you will be able to tell more from her by talking to her about this than from anyone else. Good luck :)

first of all are you or she married? second of all lots of back stabbing and @$$ kissing goes on with affairs in the office. Is it just booty call or headed for something serious. It's usually a good rule of thumb, not to mix pleasure with business in the work place. Just be careful and make sure there is an understanding with her between the two. If things went wrong she could yell sexual harassment at the blink of an eye and then look at the bind you would be in. If there is no one that is threatened or can benifit from this affair, I wouldn't say it is all wrong. Once attention is gotten outside the office, it's has a tendancy to be wanted inside, this could raise suspicion over favoritism. Tread carefully and set guidelines for behavior inside and outside the work area. Company time is just that and nothing more, they aren't paying you to sleep with the help on their watch. Your PRIVATE life is your affair.

Based on your question it sounds like you've already acted upon it. Aside from any moral conflicts that may or may not exist, do you think that's good for your work environment, does it put forth a professional image, have you thought about what happens, when the sizzle dies down. I'd start posting ads for a need secretary if I we're you.

No matter how much you want your secretary, sleep with her and you lose control. She'll have you right where she wants. And if necessary can accuse you of unfair dismissal/you used your position and trust to have your wicked way, if you need to fire her ever. Very bad idea. You would regret it.
Find someone else and keep up your authority.
Don't say didn't warn you.
Plus even if it works out, if you have an arguement you bring your arguement into work and that affects productivity.
I think, to have a relationship, one of you must leave and work elsewhere!

This is dependant on whether you have the right to sleep with her.
Is she married of with a partner?
Are you married or with a partner?
Is she doing it to further her career?
Are you doing it because you are her boss?

Of course it is. Sleeping with your secretary is the American dream. Well so long as it's the opposite sex and she looks hot.

\There is no right or wrong. Probably the fact you are asking this question indicates a certain added excitement to the episode. Just trust how you feel ( and I don't mean in the trouser department either) and go with it.

Not a good idea. Relationships in the workplace often become ugly or uncomfotable once it's over. Too late for that in this situation. I'd say follow your instincts.
