does it really matter how a girl looks...cause I think it's dumb if guys want a girl for her looks...not what's inside. I know it sounds dumb yeah yeah, but still...mean.

There are superficial guys who think of nothing but looks. Looks are definitely a characteristic for attraction but not the only one. The way she carries herself, the way she is as a person and a woman, her intelligence....That matters most! Any other characteristics are just a matter of compatibility.

sure it sounds dumb.....but here is a secret: guys are dumb. most guys will take good looks over anything else anyday. Sure they want all the other stuff, but looks is number one.
And the inside does not matter to much to a guy. A girl will be all crazy and messed up no matter what, so why not have a good looking one....

Everyone judges by looks. Those who say they dont are liars. If you are an attractive girl, and some big fat slob comes and asks you out, you laugh at him, without knowing him, just like guys laugh at girls. Looks allow you to give the person a chance, personality is why you stay friends with them, or go to the next step. But you must find them attractive in some way before you will even give them a chance. Of course, if you see them everyday at school or work, you may get to know them anyway, but normally you turn them down.

Not at all, To me it is definitely what she has inside. I would want her to be honest, loving, friendly, compassionate, and outgoing to name a few. Looks has nothing to do with it. She could even be on the heavier side too. Being skinny has nothing to do with it either. Not all guys are like this, just like not all girls are like this, but there are some out there that still look at what's on the inside. Keep looking he is out there.

Right... for your friend... anyway... LOOKS MATTER!!! It always has and always will. Anyone who agrues that is lying flat out.
Now the thing is that looks matter only to a certain degree. Most people would out weigh looks by personality and attitude.
So try to control what you can, which is your personality and attitude. Looks are natural.

you could say the answer depends in part on the age of the guy your asking. but it is possible that males are programmed by nature to go for the more attractive(healthy-looking) females. i could ask if girls look for guys more based on personality or looks.

You can't get around it. Attractiveness in a (potential) partner is in our biology. Sure, it means more to some than others, but all else being equal, ya gotta go with attractiveness.
