About two years ago I was working with a priest. A holy priest who has a great love the Blessed Virgin Mary and Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Now on this particular evening at the end of Mass the priest approached me and asked me to get the lay charismatic prayer group leader and an American lay guest who had worked in lay ministry for over twenty years and take them back to the presbytery.
During this time the priest had been talking with a mother who she had brought to the priest in suspicion that her son was demonically possessed. Her son was in his twenties. The son was also taken back to the presbytery. He sat there in the presbytery looking numb and dazed and saying very little.
However, the priest entered the presbytery and closed the door. He had also asked a few holy women in the parish to pray in the church for us as we did ministry in the presbytery.

The priest asked us me and the two other lay prayer ministers to all pray together the St. Michael prayer. As soon as we started to pray this prayer the docile dazed looking man in front of us became aggressive. The priest told us to continue praying. As we continued to pray the 'possessed' man got up and started to swear and curse many obscenities. We put our hands on him and continued to pray. The man started to howl like a wild animal and growl like a bear and roar like a lion. We kept on praying as we did he at first became aggressive as if trying to resist us but as the prayer in Jesus and Marys name continued under the guidance of the priest the man fell onto the floor. We persisted in our prayer. The man tried to reach up and strangle the priest. The priest told him to put down his hand in Jesus Christs name. At the command of Jesus the man put down his hand.

The man would then try again to strangle the priest yet again the priest commanded him Jesus Christ name to put down his hand. Me and another prayer minister were praying very excitedly at the time and the priest looked at us and told us to calm down and pray with more gentleness and love. The man at times lying on the ground when he was not growling like a bear or howling obscenities or trying to strangle the priest would try and speak a 'strange language' but before he could say a few syllables the priest would rebuke him in Jesus Christ name and he would stop. Eventually after a few hours of prayer the man stayed there on the floor like he was a scared child. The priest told him that he must be sorry for his sins (The man had been a drug abuser) and that he needed a confession. The Priest with difficulty got the man to repent of his sins and accept Christ.

The priest looked at him as if he was reading his soul and said that because of your anger and issues you have toward your natural father it has affected your relationship with God the father. He told the Man he was dearly loved by God the Father. The priest also mentioned St. Joseph wants you to be a good man. We all kept on praying as this man lay on the floor like a broken child. The priest anointed his hands and feet and head with some oil he had blessed by holy people. He asked the Lord to protect him and stop any reentry of evil spirits. We continued to pray. Eventually the man was completely calm. We came outside the presbytery greeted by the mother of the man and a few holy ladies that had been praying in the church for us the whole time. The man and his mother left the church.

Me and the prayer team approached the priest and asked him if he would expose the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament to protect us from any counter attack from the enemy or any ill effect on us after this deliverance ministry.
The priest consented and brought our Lord from out of the tabernacle and put Jesus into the monstrance. He came toward each one of us (only three people) and asked specially that we would be protected and blessed by God and a few special words for each of us individually. The priest then blessed all of us and bid us good night. It was getting late by this stage!
God bless and peace
P.S. one of my little tips to personal holiness is quite prayer and letting God love you. If you are filled with Gods love then one can only act with love. And of course a habitual and perpetual novena of true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary using the St. Louis de Montfort novena book on 'True Devotion to Mary'.
